As of July 2026, the European Union has removed its €150 duty-free threshold. All shipments into the EU — regardless of value — are now subject to customs duties (import charges) and import VAT. Will I be charged duties and VAT on my order?
Yes, if you're shipping to an EU country. These charges are calculated by customs based on your order value and are charged by the courier at checkout or on delivery, not by Egmont Honey.
Which countries does this affect?
All 27 EU member states. Shipments to the UK, USA, Australia, and New Zealand are unaffected by this change.
Why isn't Egmont covering this cost?
Duties (import charges) and import VAT are set and collected by EU customs authorities, not by us. We're not able to absorb or waive these charges, but we want you to know about them upfront so there are no surprises at delivery.

Green Label: Soothe & Vitality

Another reason is New Zealanders grow up with the best of creamed honey. The kind that sticks to your toast when applied. Aussies honey is 99% liquid runny honey. 🍯 so it runs off your bread and toast.
Plus I could never get used to the different taste of Aussie honey. Very different.
I also found it value for money, with the free delivery for purchases over $200 I was in.
Honey keeps forever right, so there’s no used by date. We are set for quite some time with one of nature’s greatest super foods.

It’s good, not the best honey to eat by itself I would recommend a darker colour honey. But it’s cheap, I still eat a lot almost 1kg per week and I use it for cooking and mixing in hot drinks as well. I prefer darker more honey to eat by itself even tho I still eat this one by itself as well.
