Early access tickets are now available for all participants of the 2025 event. For all last year's participants, please check your emails for a unique link to purchase your ticket. Early access will close on October 20th, 2025.
General registration will then open on November 1st, 2025.
Please sign up to our mailing list for all event updates and key information.
We welcome participants of all abilities, including walkers, to join us for the event! Please note, however, that our venue is only reserved until 11:30am on the day. As a result, we have set a 4-hour time limit to complete the half marathon. For those that exceed this cut-off time, we cannot guarantee an official race time or finish line services. Thanks for your understanding!
You can collect your race number and pack from our gift shop on 66 Devon St West in early April - you will receive an email with more details closer to the time!
Yes! There will be a bag drop at the finish line at Ngāmotu Beach (open from 06:00AM)
There will be five water stations throughout the Honey Half Marathon course, and one positioned at the finish line.
For the Hive 6KM there will be a water station at the finish line.
Yes, although we advise against it and emphasise that you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of those around you. You will be running on roads and public walkways so you need to be aware of your surroundings.
Yes, but please note the track does vary through difficult terrain (dirt track, gravel, possibly mud) and some access points may be challenging.
No, unfortunately dogs are prohibited at the finish line (Ngāmotu Beach).
Honey Hive 6km – Open to all ages. Children under 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes, there will be a one-way bus service available for purchase for those competing in the Half Marathon or Pairs event.
The bus will collect you from the finish line (Ngāmotu beach) and transfer you to the start of the Half Marathon course. Tickets are available for purchase until 11.59pm on April 12th, after this date you will responsible for making your own way to the start line.
Yes, this year will have on course photos available for purchase via the website post event. We will provide more information on this closer to the event.
