Egmont Honey Cardamom Affogato
There is nothing quite like a good affogato and ours is no exception. Here we have combined coffee with sweet, fragrant cardamom, rounded out with our rich, floral Mānuka Honey. This is a wonderful dessert to serve after a long lazy lunch in the summer sunshine.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
- 200ml strong coffee
- 7 cardamom pods, seeds removed and ground
- 8 scoops vanilla bean ice cream
- Egmont Honey to drizzle
- Dark chocolate to serve
1. Stir the cardamom into the coffee and set aside to cool.
2. Once cool, put two scoops of ice cream into serving bowls, pour over the coffee, drizzle with honey then grate over some dark chocolate. Serve immediately.
