Dulce de Leche Iced Latte

We think this simple recipe is a winner and that the combination of coffee and Dulce de Leche is a match made in heaven. Try it for yourself!

INGREDIENTS

- 2 heaped teaspoons Dulce de Leche

- 2-4 shots coffee

- Ice

- Milk

 

METHOD

1. Put a heaped teaspoon of Dulce de Leche into each little coffee cup and smear around the sides and over the bottom.
2. Pour in 1-2 shots of coffee into each cup and mix well to combine.
3. Put ice into two tall glasses. If you wanted to add the Dulce de Leche to the sides of the glasses, then then thin some extra Dulce de Leche down with extra coffee – just a little or your sauce will be too thin and won’t stick to the sides of the glasses.

Pour in milk then follow this with the coffee mixture and serve immediately with a straw.
