Egmont Honey & Ginger Salmon
We love omega-three packed salmon and what better than to marinate it with our honey, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger? Serve with some sushi rice and some steamed green vege and you’ve got a fantastic weeknight meal.

INGREDIENTS
-1 tablespoon soy sauce
-1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
-1 tablespoon sesame oil
-1 tablespoon Egmont Honey
-1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 4 pieces salmon (roughly 100-125g per piece
- Coriander leaves to garnish
- Sliced red chilli to garnish
METHOD
- In a small bowl whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, oil, honey and ginger.
- Pre-heat your oven grill to its hottest setting. In a heavy-bottomed frying pan over a medium-high heat, heat a little oil and once hot, add in the salmon.
- Spread the marinade over the salmon pieces, add in a quarter of a cup of boiling water then reduce the heat and let simmer away. Place the pan under the grill and let cook until the salmon is browned and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven then garnish with the coriander and the red chilli.
